Producing Tartufo Nero oil is a true art. Black truffle is a rare and highly delicate ingredient that requires careful handling. Instead of synthetic substitutes, Silvestri Rosina uses exclusively 6% black truffle juice, which naturally and permanently blends with the olive oil during cold pressing. In Italy, we personally oversee the pressing of every batch to guarantee a consistent, deep and 100% natural aroma.

Tartufo Nero is made for special occasions

Due to its rarity, we recommend using it exclusively cold, as a finishing touch just before serving:

Pasta and risotto: A few drops in an authentic Italian risotto or over homemade pasta with Parmesan create perfect harmony.
Eggs: Truffle and eggs are a legendary combination. Try it over scrambled eggs or an omelette.
Meat and mushrooms: Excellent drizzled over beef steak, carpaccio or dishes made with wild mushrooms.

Tip for morning truffle scrambled eggs

Ingredients: 3 eggs, one small white onion, Tradizionale olive oil or butter, truffle olive oil.

Method: Thinly slice the onion and gently sauté it in Tradizionale olive oil or butter. Add the 3 eggs and allow the whites to begin setting. Stir, then transfer to a plate. Generously drizzle the scrambled eggs with truffle olive oil and serve with bread or a fresh salad. Buon appetito!
