🇬🇧 Summer chocolate delivery: How we keep quality high in hot weather
Dear customers,
Summer is a time to enjoy the sun, refreshing ice cream, and well-deserved relaxation. But for chocolate, high temperatures can be a challenge – one we take seriously. To ensure your favourite pralines, bars and gift boxes arrive in perfect condition, we have introduced several measures from June to August:
📦 Shipping during hot weather
When outside temperatures rise, dispatch may take a little longer. We always aim to ship your order as quickly as possible, but in case of extreme heat (above 30 °C), we may delay shipping to the coolest day of the week, to prevent chocolate from being damaged during transport.
❄️ Delivery in a thermal return box
Want extra peace of mind during tropical days? We offer shipping in a returnable thermal box with a cooling pack for an additional €8.
Your parcel will be delivered to your address or a pickup point. After receiving it, you can return the box at any Zásilkovna partner (DPD, Hermes,...) pickup location using the return code included in the package. Return shipping is simple and already included in the price.
As soon as the thermal box arrives back to us, you’ll receive a €6 discount code for your next order. The code is valid until the end of 2025 – perfect even for your Christmas gifts.
🧊 How we ensure safe delivery

We monitor weather forecasts daily and adjust dispatch dates for the safest conditions.

We ship parcels at the start of the week (Mon–Wed) to avoid weekend delays.

During hot weeks, we only send orders on the coolest days.
